NHYS,  a non-profit organization, is affiliated with the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association, South Central District.

The Middle School League is a unique opportunity for middle school children from grades 5 through 8. Many of the teams represent local middle schools, and NHYS has one team organized for children whose middle schools do not have an organized team. The league is co-ed, and games are held every Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. to noon. A championship competition is held on the last Saturday of each season.
