From points in New Haven: Take State Street to James Street (between Blatchley and East Street intersections). Turn onto James Street and follow to the end of the street. Note that you will pass Martinez School on the right. This is not the place! Instead, continue straight ahead to the end of the street, where you will see a park with the field. (Total distance on James Street is about 0.6 miles).
From I-91 heading South: Take Exit 2 (Hamilton Street). Take right at end of exit onto Hamilton Street.Take left at light onto Chapel Street. Follow over bridge and field is on right.
From I-95 heading South: Take Exit 48 for I-91 North. Get off Exit 2 (exit is immediately on right). Take right at end of exit onto Hamilton Street Take left at light onto Chapel Street Follow over bridge and field is on right.
From I-95 heading North: Take Exit 48 for I-91 North. Take Exit 5. Turn right at end of exit onto James Street. Continue straight on James Street to the end. Note that you will pass Martinez School on the right. This is not the place! Instead, continue straight ahead to the end of the street, where you will see a park with the field. We use the open area of East Rock / College Woods, in between Cold Spring St, Livingston St & Orange St in the East Rock area of the city. This park is across Orange Street from Wilbur Cross High School.

Take Interstate Route 95 north towards Branford / New London. Take Exit 50 Woodward Ave RIGHT EXIT. Continue straight through the first traffic light on the exit ramp (for the port area). At the second light, turn right onto Woodward Avenue. East Shore Fields #1 and 2 will be at the second flashing yellow light along Woodward Avenue, just past the playgrounds. Turn right into parking lot. Soccer fields are on the left. East Shore 1 is closer to Woodward Avenue,East Shore 2 is closer to harbor. East Shore 3 is closer to the highway. After turning on to Woodward Ave, travel .7 miles to the first flashing yellow light.Turn right into park entry drive. * Turn right at small rotary and continue along drive as is curves to the left. At .2 miles after rotary, park in lot on the left. Soccer field is between the parking lot and the harbor.

TRAVELING FROM POINTS EAST OF NEW HAVEN
Take Interstate Route 95 south towards New Haven/Bridgeport
Take the Exit 51 Frontage Road / Lighthouse Point RIGHT EXIT. This will put you on to Frontage Road. After about .5 miles stay right and you will be on Forbes Avenue. Stay on Forbes Ave for about .4 miles. Turn left onto Woodward Ave and continue across the freeway. Follow instructions below.EAST SHORE 1 AND 2 After turning on to Woodward Ave, travel 1 mile to (second) flashing yellow light. Turn right into parking lot. Soccer fields are on the left. East Shore 1 is closer to Woodward Ave. East Shore 2 is closer to harbor. EAST SHORE 3 After turning on to Woodward Ave, travel .7 miles to (first) flashing yellow light.Turn right into park entry drive. * Turn right at small rotary and continue along drive as is curves to the left. They are located on the park area between Yale Ave and Ella Grasso Boulevard
Foote School

The Foote School field is on Highland Street between Whitney Avenue and Prospect Street in the East Rock neighborhood of New Haven. From downtown, take Whitney Avenue towards Hamden. You will pass through a traffic light for Willow Street, and another one on the next block at Canner Street. One block past Canner Street, turn left on Highland Street. Continue on Highland past the stop sign and up a steep hill. The field will be on the right, approximately 100 yards beyond the stop sign.

 

From I-91, takeWillow St. Exit (Exit 6) At end of ramp, turn right. Proceed all the way to end at Whitney Avenue. Turn right onto Whitney Avenue. Take second left onto Highland Street. Go past one stop sign.
 
Highland Field is along Highland on the right, approximately 100 yards beyond the stop sign.

From points south on I-95 (e.g., Bridgeport, Milford):
Take Exit 44 (Kimberly Ave.) towards CT-10. Merge onto Kimberly Ave (CT-122). Stay on Kimberly Ave as it crosses Greenwich Ave. and Lamberton Street; just beyond, it will bend left and you will be on Howard Ave. Turn left on Howard and follow it across Columbus Ave. Shortly afterwards, you will reach an intersection with Congress Ave. Turn left on Congress Ave. The school will be three blocks ahead on the right. Parking is just beyond the school building.
From points north on I-95 (e.g., Guilford and Madison):
Take Exit 47 for CT-34 West. Stay on 34 to Exit 2, for North Frontage Road / College Street. Merge onto North Frontage and stay in the left lane. At the intersection with College Street, turn left across the bridge. Stay straight on College Street. You will pass by parts of the Yale medical complex; the road will bend to the right and will turn into Congress Ave. Continue on Congress for approximately five blocks. The school will be on the right. Parking is just beyond the school building.
From points north on I-91 (e.g., Wallingford):
Take Exit 1 for CT-34 West. Stay on 34 to Exit 2, for North Frontage Road / College Street. Merge onto North Frontage and stay in the left lane. At the intersection with College Street, turn left across the bridge. Stay straight on College Street. You will pass by parts of the Yale medical complex; the road will bend to the right and will turn into Congress Ave. Continue on Congress for approximately five blocks. The school will be on the right. Parking is just beyond the school building.
From points in New Haven near Westville:
Follow Whalley Ave. towards downtown, then turn Right on Boulevard. Continue on Boulevard past the cemetery and turn left just beyond the cemetery on Columbus Ave. Almost immediately, the road forks in three. You need to make a left turn and then an immediate right. This should put you on Congress Ave. Continue on Congress Ave. for about half a mile. The school will be on your left; turn just before the school into the parking lot.
From points in New Haven near East Rock:
Depending on the time of day and traffic conditions, you can either take I-91 and follow the directions above as though from Wallingford, or you can take Prospect Street towards downtown New Haven. This turns into College Street and continues straight ahead past the New Haven Green. Continue across the Frontage Road and over 34. You will pass by parts of the Yale medical complex; the road will bend to the right and will turn into Congress Ave. Continue on Congress for approximately five blocks. The school will be on the right. Parking is just beyond the school building.

At 2nd right off of Burwell, turn onto Peat Meadow. The park is on the left after one block.

TRAVELING FROM POINTS NORTH OF NEW HAVEN
Take Interstate Route 91 south to Exit 7. At end of ramp (traffic signal), turn left onto Middletown Avenue. At next light, turn right and go across bridge. At next light turn right onto State Street. Go about 2/10 of a mile and turn left on Rock Street (just before East Rock Auto Repair). This will merge into English Drive which will lead you to Rice Field on the left.


TRAVELING FROM POINTS SOUTH OF NEW HAVEN
Take Interstate Route 91 north to Exit 6, Willow Street (LEFT EXIT). Turn right at end of ramp onto Willow. At second light turn right onto Mitchell Drive. At next light, turn right on Orange Street. At end of Orange Street, turn right onto English Drive. Fields will be on your right.
